MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Twin Cities, meet the Eternal City: Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is adding nonstop daily service from its Minneapolis-St. Paul hub to Rome during the peak summer season beginning May 26, 2016.
Rome will be Delta's fifth long-haul international destination from Minneapolis-St. Paul and the 10th peak-day flight between the U.S. and Italy for summer 2016. "We are very excited about Delta Air Lines' decision to launch service to Rome," said Jeff Hamiel, executive director and chief executive officer of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, which owns and operates Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
