Il comunicato sembra quello di un paio d'anni fa riferito alla green zone di Baghdad. E' assurdo dire "vai a divertirti a Sharm, ma non uscire dalla città che ti tagliano la testa.
Sara', ma al momento dalle indagini sulle varie scatole nere non e' emerso nulla. Per dirne una, il governo inglese non ha mai proibito i voli da/per la Liberia durante Ebola. Ora, magari hanno veramente info credibili, ma bloccare i voli cosi, lasciando 20.000 passeggeri a spasso, e' qualcosa di grosso. Deve essere una minaccia molto prossimo e molto grave per fare una mossa del genere, oppure sono andati in panico.
Questa deve averla scritta uno che si è fatto due funghi alla vaniglia del Punjab stamattina.

An “engine explosion” is thought to be the most likely cause of the Russian plane crash in Sinai on Saturday which killed 224 people, according to Egyptian and Russian media reports.
Investigators have been carrying out preliminary analyses of the Metrojet Airbus 321’s two “black box” flight recorders since Tuesday morning, though damage to the equipment has slowed their progress.
But while an initial assessment of the evidence on the cockpit voice recorder seemed to show noises “uncharacteristic of a standard flights” just before the plane disappeared off radar screens, a first look at the other recorder has thrown up an explosion of the engine as the main lead.
That’s according to a source close to the investigation, the Egyptian Al-Masry al-Youm newspaper reported. The source also said that the possibility of a catastrophic blast on the engine was first thrown up by an analysis of debris at the crash site.

While reports from investigation sources to Egyptian and Russian media have been common, official statements say that a proper analysis of both data recorders will take between one and four weeks.
Until then, conflicting reports as to the cause of the crash continue to emerge.
Data*released by the flight-tracking website FlightRadar24have given further insight into the final seconds of the St Petersburg-bound flight from Sharm el-Sheikh.

It said the plane reached its cruising altitude before abruptly slowing down, after which it started plummeting to the ground at 300mph. It dropped from 31,000ft to 26,000ft in a matter of moments, after which its transponders stopped transmitting data.

Also today, the*Isis militant group released a new audio message claiming responsibility for bringing the plane down*– but failed to provide any evidence to back this up.

The message, released by Isis’s branch in the Sinai Peninsula, instead challenged the Egyptian and Russian authorities to “prove we didn’t do it”.
While officials have not conclusively ruled out a terrorist incident, experts said it was unusual for Isis to claim an attack without providing some form of evidence to show it did so.
Early investigations appear to have also ruled out a ground-to-air missile or other external impact being responsible for the disaster, the worst in Russia’s aviation history.

i wouldn't say that it is unusual for terrorists to not give evidence of their deeds. After all, Osama Bin Laden never explained how he pulled off 9/11 from a cave in the mountains, while dying of kidney failure and subsequently shattering the validity of numerous physical laws which up to that point had been considered inviolable. I am thinking of thermodynamics, and relativity, amongst others. Amazing really that it has not been investigated further how 2 planes and some kerosene demolished 3 steel framed skyscrapers. Oh. It HAS been investigated. Everyone needs to wake up to the bigger reality that the entire war on terror is a sham and a lie. It puts a lot of other things in perspective when you are not dozing through life like a lamb to the slaughter.*

Surely an engine explosion would result in engine debris puncturing the fuselage and wings from the outside and be very obvious. An explosion inside the fuselage would be very different.
I wonder whether the Egyptians are trying to mislead us.

Modern aircraft engines are designed to try and contain debris in the event of engine damage, with the aim to allow the aircraft to continue flying on it's remaining engines. It doesn't always work, but an engine explosion doesn't necessarily mean there'd be any evidence of debris strikes anywhere else on the plane.

Conferenza stampa domani del team investigativo. indiscrezioni di questi ultimi minuti sembrano dare conferma all'atto terroristico.
Se Putin ha fatto bloccare tutti i voli deve aver saputo qualcosa che gli ha fatto prendere questa decisione. Curioso di ascoltare la conferenza stampa, ma purtroppo credo che si vada verso l' ipotesi peggiore, quella dell' atto terrostico.
Chiedo agli esperti, in caso di una esplosione al motore, i piloti avrebbero avuto il tempo per lanciare il segnale di pericolo?

Il "segnale di pericolo" è il Mayday ripetuto tre volte.
La procedura airbus prevede che, in caso di avarie o avvisi, il pilota che sta facendo la tratta reclami con voce squillante: "I have control I have radio!" e dopo aver stabilito insieme la natura del problema:"Ecam action!"
A quel punto l'altro pilota comincia a pistolare seguendo le indicazioni della check list elettronica, mentre quello che pilota manda l'eventuale Mayday con il nominativo, la natura dell'emergenza e le intenzioni.
NON esiste il Panic Button, anzi è più facile parlare con il controllo che cominciare a premere i bottoni del sistema che avvisa a terra dell'emergenza.
Se proprio la capoccia sta partendo per la tangente perché è successo qualcosa di grosso e veramente imprevedibile una chiamata con "Mayday Metrojet engine explosion descending now" porta via un secondo a dirla tutta...
ora al lavoro in regia, la conduttrice (rainews 24) ha appena citato fonte France2 che in una delle due scatole nere (indi quella con le registrazioni audio) si sente chiaramente boato di una esplosione ..... :-(
