October 8, 2014- Alitalia Suspends Flights to and from Yerevan (Armenia) and Issue Re-Protection Policy
Alitalia suspends flight to and from Yerevan (Armenia) for the Winter 2014-2015. Passengers booked and holding a ticket issued on cancelled flights, will benefit from the following repro policy:
Re-routing without penalty according to the following options:
- via PAR on AZ operating and AZ marketing flights (AF operated), connecting with AZ marketing (AF operating), beginning October, 13th 2014
- via PAR on AZ operating and AZ marketing flights (AF operated), connecting with AF operating flights as per the AZ/AF SPA currently in force, here attached
- via MOW on AZ operating and AZ marketing flights (SU operated), connecting with SU operating flights as per the AZ/SU SPA currently in force, here attached
- The travel may be done via intermediate point on the same origin and destination. - Reservation must be changed and ticket must be reissued not later than three months after schedule has been updated.
- Travel must be completed within three months from the date of the cancelled flight and in any case within ticket validity
- The original duration of stay may be preserved.
Booking Code
- AZ operating: rebooking in the original booking class or in the first available upper class, same cabin.
- AZ marketing on AF and SU operating: original booking class, same cabin.
- AF/SU operating flights: rebooking as per the SPA agreements currently in force, same cabin.
Full Refund without any penalty of completely/partially unused ticket in the original form of payment
Passengers holding an 'open' ticket, without any reservation, will get full refund without any penalty of completely/partially unused ticket in the original form of payment.
MilleMiglia Award Tickets:
Millemiglia Customers could choose to be rebooked without penalty on any other AZ destination in the award classes provided, subject to the space availability
In case of mileage availability re-routing on Sky team Partner flights without penalty will be authorized, in the award classes provided, subject to the space availability
Complete refund of mileage will be granted.
Tickets re-issue:
Rerouting requires ticket reissue. E-tkts must be reissued without penalty inserting in the box restriction the indication: "CANX EVN W14"
