Lufthansa in the first quarter of 2026 schedules various frequency changes on US routes. Planned changes as of 26AUG25 include the following.

Frankfurt – Atlanta 25DEC25 – 23FEB26 Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly
Frankfurt – Boston 12JAN26 – 08FEB26 Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly, A330-300 (A330-300 operates from 13JAN26 to 28FEB26, instead of initially filed A340-300. A340-600 on this route is scheduled until 11JAN26)
Frankfurt – Chicago O'Hare 12JAN26 – 22FEB26 Reduce from 12 to 7 weekly
Frankfurt – Dallas/Ft. Worth 12JAN26 – 23FEB26 Reduce from 5 to 3 weekly
Frankfurt – Denver 12JAN26 – 14FEB26 6 weekly service suspended
Frankfurt – Detroit 27JAN26 – 24FEB26 Reduce from 7 to 5 weekly
Frankfurt – Houston 13JAN26 – 01MAR26 Reduce from 7 to 5 weekly. 747-400 replaces A330-300 from 01FEB26
Frankfurt – New York JFK 11JAN26 – 24FEB26 Reduce from 14 to 7 weekly (A340-600 on this route is scheduled until 11JAN26)
Frankfurt – St. Louis 01FEB25 – 28FEB26 3 weekly service suspended
Frankfurt – Seattle 12JAN26 – 01MAR26 Reduce from 5 to 3 weekly
Munich – Charlotte 13JAN26 – 23FEB26 Reduce from 6 to 5 weekly
Munich – New York JFK 21JAN26 – 09FEB26 Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly
Munich – San Diego 12JAN26 – 01MAR26 Reduce from 5 to 3 weekly (Previously reported)

Non e' che riduce LH e UA non riduce.
Non è che le cose debbano necessariamente andare di pari passo, parliamo di due mercati completamente diversi e di flussi diversi.
Il punto di @Brendon è che , ad esempio, togliendo il MUC IAD per 2 mesi questo intacca assai sia il beyond in arrivo che quello originante, precludendo opportunità di network connections.
Cosi per IAH, ORD e DEN; ed essendo appunto le dinamiche POS US e POS DE (e POS EU più in generale) diverse non avere il connecting network previsto per uno o due mesi può essere assai limitante per POS US.
