Turkish Airlines, ITA Airways and Iberia lead the world in #A350 average daily utilisation, with all three topping 14.5 hours of average daily #blockhours

As per recent data divulged by ch-aviation for December of 2025, 8 of the top 10 airlines are flying their A350s for over 14 hours daily, on average. The list notably also includes one of the newest A350 operators globally - Air India Limited

ITA's results represent a notable increase on exactly a year prior, when an AirlineStat analysis unveiled ITA's A350s were their best utilized aircraft variant. At the time, ITA was averaging 13.5 hours of daily use on its A350s

Non mi sorprende ITA considerando che lo usa sulle destinazioni piu lontane, inclusa Tokyo con la deviazione per evitare lo spazio aereo russo. Ma é una buona statistica. Vuol dire che anche con solo 6 macchine, c´e´ una buona disponibilitá. Se solo i GTF fossero affidabili come gli XWB
E spero che sia vero che la flotta di A350 ITA cresca fino a 10 macchine (c´e´ chi dice 13 addirittura).
Mi sorprende un po il valore di Iberia, che non mi pare abbia rotte cosi lunghe, a parte la NRT che in media fa 13 ore. E Turkish li usa parecchio anche su rotte di medio raggio, il che dovrebbe abbassare un po la media.

Ottima notizia. I longhaulers sono progettati per fare 12-14h di utilizzo medio come block hour, brava ITA. La sfida, ora, e' riuscire a mantenere standard accettabili di manutenzione in cabina con downtime limitato. Non sono in tanti a riuscirci; tolte le varie asiatiche, in Europa ce la fanno veramente in pochi (a naso direi LH).

L'altra sfida e' arrivare a valori simili (difficile fare like-for-like) per il corto raggio.
