Flights from Milan start in November ahead of the busy holiday season
New service connects Milan travellers to a growing Red Sea destination aboard beOnd’s all-lie-flat cabin starting from November.
DUBAI (November 13, 2025) - beOnd, the world’s first premium leisure airline, has become the first airline to launch direct service between Europe and Red Sea International Airport (RSI), operated by daa International.
Milan is the first airport in Europe to get direct connectivity to The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations, offering travellers direct access to two of the world’s most exciting new destinations, paired with beOnd’s signature premium experience and RSI’s world-class design shaped by innovation, hospitality, and a deep respect for the natural surroundings.
“We’re proud to be the first airline connecting Milan directly to the Red Sea destinations,” said Tero Taskila, CEO and Chairman of beOnd. “This route brings together three exceptional destinations: Milan, a global capital of design and culture, and The Red Sea and AMAALA – two of the world’s most pristine and geographically-diverse coastlines. We’re excited to offer travellers a new and more elevated way to experience each.”
“The launch of this direct route from Milan marks a defining moment for Red Sea Global and our destinations. It not only strengthens our connection with Europe, but also reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering extraordinary experiences that harmonize luxury and sustainability. Together with our partners at beOnd, we are opening a new gateway to the Saudi Red Sea coast, ushering in the next chapter of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 journey,” said John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global.
Andrew Tyler-Smith, CEO of Red Sea International Airport, said “We are thrilled to welcome beOnd as the first airline offering direct service from Europe to The Red Sea and AMAALA. As we expand RSI’s growing network, we are honored to have strategic airline partners such as beOnd be a part of our journey in welcoming travellers from across the globe to discover the Saudi Red Sea coast.”
beOnd’s new, non-stop service will operate twice weekly, starting on November 12, 2025 and will be flown by beOnd’s fleet of A320-family aircraft with an all-lie-flat seat configuration. The route is the first of several new destinations beOnd will operate from The Red Sea.
“We’re grateful to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia and Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile in Italy for their support in making this route possible,” said Taskila. “We also want to thank Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) Red Sea International Airport (RSI), Saudi Air Connectivity Program (ACP) and SEA Milan Airports for their continued trust and paving the steps to help us add RSI to our growing network.”
The Red Sea destination now counts nine luxury hotels that are open and welcoming guests, as well as Thuwal Private Retreat off the coast of Jeddah. On 11 November RSG announced the highly anticipated launch of AMAALA Triple Bay, which will see the debut of five world-class luxury resorts initially, as well as a yacht club, marine life institute, state-of-the-art marina and bustling Marina Village over the coming weeks.
beOnd’s onboard experience is designed for today’s premium leisure traveller, with lie-flat seating, chef-curated dining, and a personalised amenity kit created in partnership with Avant. The airline’s vision is to redefine luxury travel through intentional design, seamless service and direct access to some of the world’s most desirable destinations.
beOnd continues to expand its global network, with more destinations to follow as demand for premium leisure travel grows.
