Oramai British Airways sta entrando nell'Olimpo della memorabilità (un po' come ha già fatto Carpi, secondo la vulgata social).

Il fatto è che in BA hanno gente (all'interno del dipartimento di In-flight customer experience, specie quelli che fanno i disciplinary) che spiffera tutte queste cose ai tabloid per soldi. Le stesse cose succedono in KLM, Lingus, Virgin (di quelle che so io), ma dalle loro parti il middle management tiene la bocca chiusa.

Stranamente, in BA, quelli che fanno i delatori ai tabloid non vengono mai sgamati. hmm.

this morning (5 March), Brussels and Bern signed a new deal on the exchange of air passenger data.

The sharing of so-called Passenger Name Records (PNR),

Until now, airlines operating flights between Switzerland and the EU could share some data from their passengers’ bookings with the authorities in Bern and Brussels, but there was no mechanism in place for transmitting information relevant to the security of their respective citizens.

The EU has already signed deals with Australia and the US in 2012, with the UK in 2020, and with Canada in 2025. The protocols, already signed in October last year, are also awaiting ratification by Iceland and Norway, while in December 2025, the EU Council adopted a decision authorising the opening of negotiations with South Korea.

Sicuramente è positiva, ma con Schengen e il Single European Sky non è qualcosa che doveva essere di per sè, già autorizzato tanti anni fa? Almeno per tutti i membri EASA?
