visti gli orari di Rj sarebbe utile per Az stipulare un code share in modo da garantire ai transiti intercontinentali un orario di rientro precedente al volo delle 22 Az (che va bene per i transiti europei ma non per i voli da americhe che arrivano la mattina).
Oltretutto il codeshare potrebbe estendersi dall'altra parte sui voli per HKG e BKK di Rj ora che AirChina non opera + su BKK ma su DEL C/S Az.

Alitalia expands network with a new air link between Rome and Amman

Rome, Italy - Tickets with a promotional tariff (EUR 399) until the end of March


(WAPA) - "Alitalia expands offer of international flights with a new connection from June 10 between Rome and Amman. The airline, until March 31, offers a promotional tariff of EUR 399 (return flight, taxes and extra included) to fly from Rome to Amman until July 19.

The new route will be served with four weekly frequencies. The service from Rome to Jordan's capital will take off at 10:10pm and will arrive at 2:35am (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday); from Amman to Rome will leave at 4:25am and will arrive at 7:15 (on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday).

The flights will be served by Airbus A-320 aircraft. These airplanes are equipped with most modern and advanced technologies and offer the maximum in terms of comfort and design.

Beyond the link to Amman, the Alitalia's Summer network is expanded also with new international flights from Rome and Vienna and Rome and Malaga (from March 28) and with two new intercontinental links between Milan-Malpensa and Miami (as of June 3) and Rome-Fiumicino and Los Angeles (starting from June 5)". Alitalia to Resume Flights to Amman from Rome

Amman -- Airport International GroupAirport International Group (AIG) the Jordanian company responsible for the rehabilitation, expansion and operation of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), announced that Alitalia will soon resume flights to Amman from the Italian capital city of Rome after a 6-year hiatus.

The group said in a press release on Tuesday that as of June 10, Alitalia will operate non-stop flights between Amman and Rome aboard their Airbus 320.

The service will be offered on 4 weekly flights between the two capitals.

Flights from Rome to Amman will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Fridays and from Amman to Rome on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Curtis Grad, Chief Executive Officer of AIG commented on this service saying: "We are very pleased to welcome Alitalia's back to Amman.

It is another strong signal that QAIA is on solid footing for continued development and diversification, adding to a rapidly growing list of regular air services from no less than 40 airlines linking Jordan to more than 60 destinations across the globe.

" "With the new operation to Jordan, Alitalia will strengthen its position in the Middle East Area", said a statement issued by Alitalia.

"With a total of 82 destinations, out of which 28 domestic, 40 International and 14 Intercontinental", the statement added.

The USD750 million rehabilitation and expansion works at QAIA are well underway, including the construction of a new state-of-the-art 100,000 square meter passenger terminal.

AIG is a Jordanian company with private shareholding by Invest AD (Abu Dhabi, UAE), Noor Financial Investment Company (Kuwait), Edgo Group (Jordan), Joannou & Paraskevaides (Overseas) Limited (Cyprus), J&P-Avax (Greece) and A roports de Paris Management (France).
