David Roman Voegeli
David, an aviation geek, was born in Geneva (Switzerland) in 1975. His first flight took place when he was 3 month old, when he took off from Geneva to Paris Orly on an Air Afrique DC-10. Graduated from Geneva Commercial School in 1996, his career has been driven by the taste of challenge, being involved in no less than 4 start-up airlines, for which he brought his knowledge and creativity in order to structure their current network and build up their growth on a long-term process, notably with, FlyBaboo in Geneva, as well as Arik Air in Lagos, Nigeria.
He has acquired a wide range of experiences through the various held positions, from marketing & communication with Crossair to sales representation with Thai Airways, and from project management with AGI (based in Cochin, India) to Operation and Station Management Support for some different operators. Lately, David became an airline industry consultant, providing expertise for diverse issues such as Amadeus Altéa GDS Suite implementation process for Saudia Arabian Airlines (Jeddah, KSA), expertise on an West-Coast African low-fare airline set up project as well as expertise on airline and airport jet-fuel current & future consumption for Cargill Energy. More recently - again in Africa - David was in charge, for more than a year, of the network & revenue management strategy, as well as the relevant staff training, for the new national airline launched in 2011, Senegal Airline.
Today, David is mainly working along with airports and airlines, providing them with deep market studies and analysis, as well as support in their long-term development, through various expertises and staff coaching.
Specialized in network & fleet strategy and analysis, as well as in sales & revenue management, David is well placed to cover duties such as ground operations issues, marketing, slot portfolio management and all related tasks too.
Very detailed & human oriented, David has a deep concern in taking the best potential of each individual in total accordance, conscience and respect with their human feelings.
