Ethiopian plane fire at Heathrow
A spokesperson from Heathrow Airport has told ITV Meridian that there has been an ongoing incident involving a plane from Ethiopian Airlines. No passengers are on board. There are no reports of any injuries.
All arrivals and departures at the airport have been suspended while fire crews deal with the incident which began in the last twenty minutes.

Heathrow shut after 'Boeing Dreamliner 787' fire
Runways at London's Heathrow airport have closed after an incident reportedly involving an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner jet.
Arrivals and departures have been suspended, a spokesman for the airport said. The airport said in a tweet that there were no passengers aboard.
Fifty Dreamliners worldwide were grounded in January because of battery malfunctions.
Boeing later modified the jets with new batteries.
In April an Ethiopian Airlines Dreamliner - said to be the same plane involved in the Heathrow incident - flew from Addis Ababa to Nairobi on the first commercial flight since the grounding.
Pictures on Twitter show an aircraft close to a terminal building surrounded by fire vehicles. London Fire Brigade said its crews were standing by to assist Heathrow staff.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: "Police at Heathrow were alerted to a fire on a plane. Emergency services are in attendance.
"At this time it is believed no one was on board and there are no reports of any injuries. Fire is being treated as unexplained." BBC

The aircraft is a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, a model which the company temporarily withdrew from service earlier this year for modifications after concerns that batteries on board could cause fires.
Boeing shares were down 5 percent in New York.
The Civil Aviation Authority has said that at this stage they will not be investigating the fire.

Brutta storia per Boeing ed i 787 se salterà fuori che la colpa è nuovamente delle batterie o dell'impianto elettrico.
Brutto incidente, specialmente se dovesse nuovamente confermarsi un problema alle batterie.
Sembrerebbero da escludere problemi alle batterie, da Twitter leggo che in quella zona c'è il crew bunk
Da quanto vedo dalla foto sembra che l'incendio si è sviluppato all'intero della coda dell'aereo. Da un disegno preso da un sito vedo che le batterie stanno poco dietro l'ala e sotto il muso, quindi, a meno che l'incendio non si sia propagato verso la coda, potrebbe essere accaduto qualcos'altro.
Un bel casino per la Boeing...
