Libya Afriqiyah Airways 8U771/Airbus A330-200 Crash in Tripoli

According to reports from various media at initial stage, a passenger plane has crashed at Tripoli Airport (time of this post goes to press 0822GMT 12MAY10). Based on the report, flight is Afriqiyah Airways 8U771, Airbus A330-200, Johannesburg to Tripoli.
Report from AFP claims 94 passengers and 11 crews on board the A330 as it tries to land. The Libyan carrier received its first Airbus A330-200 in 2009. This would be the 2nd major loss of Airbus A330-200. First major loss of A330-200 was AIRFRANCE AF447, which almost occurred a year ago.
