Per gli amanti di questo genere di informazioni. Ho volato si EI-FIZ: nuovi sedili slim ma cappelliere e illuminazione tradizionali.
Per curiosità mi chiedevo quale fosse il volo più lungo del network Ryanair: sono riuscito a trovare Stoccolma-Las Palmas di 6h05' schedulate (un po' di meno effettive).

These record monthly numbers and load factors were delivered, at lower fares, despite the ongoing disruptions being caused by ATC strikes in France, as lower fares and the continuing success of our “Always Getting Better” customer experience programme continue to deliver even more great value for our customers.

Puramente etnico come si dice, è arrivata prima di Wizzair! Vedi la comunità polacca in EnglandStavo guardando su Google Earth dove si trova la nuova Lappeenranta di FR (Olsztyn Mazury, in Polonia), vorrei capire il tipo di traffico che può avere un aeroporto del genere...

Mi ricorda un po' quando Tuifly spacciava Memmingen per "Monaco Ovest". Quei volponi del marketing di Ryan potrebbero fare lo stesso: un bel "Varsavia Nord" ci può stare, dopotutto sono solo 180km di distanza.

Ci sono stato un bel po' di anni fa; per lo più turismo interno e tedesco legato ai laghi nelle vicinanze. È quasi al confine con l'enclave russa di Kaliningrad e la Lituania, immagino peschi un po' anche da lì, e si rivolga per lo più al traffico etnico/VFR degli emigrati polacchi in Inghilterra (la zona non è ricchissima, quindi immagino sia più prona all'emigrazione di altre aree del paese).
Secondo me dura il tempo di esaurire gli incentivi.

Oddio, è come dire che Montichiari è quasi al confine con svizzera e austria, eh?!
le principali città lituane stanno tra i 300 e i 400 km.
Kaliningrad sta a 150 km e 3 ore di macchina.
Sono comunque d'accordo con te: pure per me dura un battito di incentivi
Ryanair rivoluziona la sua presenza a Oslo: abbandona lo scalo di Oslo Rygge, spostando alcuni voli a Olso Torp e sbarca per la prima volta all' aeroporto principale OSL con un 3x daily su Stansted e 1 daily su Vilnius.
Lo scalo di Rygge ha dichiarato che a seguito dell' abbandono da parte di Ryanair che operava la quasi totalità dei voli esistenti, chiuderà ai voli commerciali, l'unica altra compagnia presente è infatti Norwegian con una presenza marginale.

Ryanair, Europe’s No 1 airline, today (1 Jun) confirmed that (from 29 October) it will be forced to close its Oslo Rygge base and reduce its Norwegian traffic by 50% after the Norwegian Government confirmed the introduction of an environmentally unfriendly tax, which will damage Norwegian tourism, traffic and jobs.
The Norwegian Government today introduced an 80NOK tax on all departing passengers, and as a result, Ryanair has been left with no choice but to:
Close its Oslo Rygge base from 29 Oct 2016
Cancel 16 routes
Reduce its Norwegian traffic by 50% (-900,000 passengers)
Move 4 aircraft & Ryanair jobs out of Norway to other Ryanair bases
Switch its London Stansted & Vilnius routes to Oslo Gardermoen (where it can avail of low cost airport agreements at Stansted & Vilnius)
Switch the remaining 8 Oslo Rygge routes to Oslo Torp, since Oslo Rygge has advised it cannot sustain reduced operations.
All airlines operating in Norway had repeatedly warned of the damage this tax would have on Norwegian air travel and tourism and had urged the Norwegian Government to scrap their plans. Governments in Belgium, Ireland and the Netherlands had already scrapped similar taxes and returned to growth. Sadly, despite these warnings, the Norwegian Government has destroyed the competitiveness of Oslo Rygge, an independent, profitable airport, in favour of the State monopoly Avinor, and inefficient airlines.
In Oslo, Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer, David O’Brien said:
“The illogical decision of the Norwegian Government to introduce a flat rate environmentally unfriendly tax unfairly penalises passengers on efficient, green, airlines such as Ryanair in favour of passengers on high fare, half empty, gas guzzling airlines, and destroys the cost competitiveness of privately owned Oslo Rygge Airport in favour of the state owned Avinor monopoly. As a result, Ryanair has no choice but to close its Oslo Rygge base which will result in our Norwegian traffic being cut in half. Since Oslo Rygge has confirmed it will be unable to sustain reduced non-based services offered by Ryanair, we will move our remaining 8 Rygge routes to Oslo Torp from 30th October.
We will also move our London route to Oslo Gardermoen (where we avail of a low cost agreement at Stansted) which will increase to a 3 times daily service and our daily Vilnius service will also switch to Gardermoen, from 30th October. We will then move our Rygge-based aircraft, pilots and cabin crew to other bases in Ryanair’s 33 country network. This retrograde tax will result in the loss of 900,000 passengers per annum and 1,000 jobs for Oslo Rygge.
This tax will severely damage Norwegian tourism, particularly around regional airports. The Norwegian Government has instantly made Norway uncompetitive and less attractive to airlines and tourists. The Italian Government, which hiked passenger taxes in January, has already said it will review its decision, given the impact its tax will have on its airports. Sadly, the Norwegian Government have chosen to sacrifice 1,000 jobs at Oslo Rygge for reasons which defy explanation. This is a black day for Oslo Rygge, for Norway and for Norwegian tourism.”

Ryanair taglia i costi per i bagagli in stiva
È partita l’operazione di taglio e semplificazione delle tariffe dei bagagli in stiva da parte di Ryanair.
Con la nuova procedura i clienti della compagnia low cost si troveranno di fronte a 6 opzioni (108 quelle precedenti) legate alla durata del volo e al peso del bagaglio. Nel dettaglio per i voli inferiori alle due ore, il costo per un peso fino a 15 kg scende da 30 a 15 euro, mentre da 15 a 20 chili si passa da 40 a 25. Più contenuto il risparmio per i voli sotto le tre ore, che scendono rispettivamente da 30 a 25 euro e da 40 a 35. Invariati i costi per i voli sopra le tre ore: 40 e 50 euro.
“Oltre il 92 per cento dei nostri clienti potrá godere di una riduzione dei prezzi dei bagagli da stiva – sottolinea il chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs - e pagherà lo stesso prezzo per il bagaglio da stiva sia se acquistato al momento della prenotazione iniziale che se aggiunto successivamente alla prenotazione, a prescindere dalla stagionalità. Inoltre, i clienti avranno anche la possibilità di aggiungere i bagagli per le loro prenotazioni tramite l'app di Ryanair fino a 3 ore prima dell’orario previsto di partenza”.

Mi sembra una notevole semplificazione oltre che un risparmio che arriva fino al 50% in alcuni casi, inoltre non ci sarà piu' il supplemento di prezzo per i voli nel periodo estivo.

Ryanair ha celebrato l’annuncio delle due nuove rotte da Milano Bergamo per Niš e Ostrava mettendo in vendita posti con tariffe a partire da €19.99 per viaggiare a Novembre. Queste tariffe sono disponibili per la prenotazione sul sito Ryanair.com fino alla mezzanotte di Giovedí (14 giugno)
A Bergamo, Giuseppe Belladone, Sales & Marketing Executive di Ryanair, ha dichiarato:
“Ryanair é lieta di annunciare due nuove rotte da Milano Bergamo per Niš, la nostra prima rotta Italiana verso la Serbia, ed Ostrava, entrambe con doppia frequenza settimanale e che inizieranno rispettivamente il 30 ottobre ed 1 Novembre per un totale di 60 rotte da/per Milano Bergamo questo inverno. Queste rotte saranno la scelta ideale per la nostra clientelasia business che leisure e non vediamo l’ora di aggiungere ulteriori rotte da/per Milano Bergamo in futuro.
Per festeggiare il lancio delle nostre nuove rotte, stiamo mettendo in vendita posti da Milano Bergamo a Niš ed Ostrava a tariffe che partono da soli 19,99 euro per viaggiare a Novembre, disponibili per la prenotazione entro Martedí (14 giugno). Poiché i posti a questi fantastici prezzi bassi andranno a ruba velocemente, invitiamo i passeggeri ad accedere subito a www.ryanair.com per evitare di perderli.”

Due giorni fa, il buon MOL era a Berlino per festeggiare i 100 milioni di passeggeri tedeschi dal 1999 [1].
MOL ha dichiarato che, durante l'orario invernale, saranno 9 le macchine basate a SXF, avvicinandosi così alle 10 di easyJet e iniziando a minare il dominio di quella che era una base quasi totalmente arancione.

* l'acquisizione di airberlin non è sul tavolo: è meglio invadere con i propri aerei, piuttosto che comprare una compagnia decotta
* entro 5 anni Ethiad venderà a LH airberlin, per avere una quota di minoranza in LH e AB verrà fusa con eurowings
* il nuovo BER è troppo piccolo, e Ryanair preferisce comunque rimanere nel vecchio Schönefeld
* FR in Germania non vuole puntare al traffico nazionale, ma solo internazionale

Mi sembra una dichiarazione forte. Chissà che ci abbia preso. Del resto potrebbe essere uno scenario futuro considerate le dichiarazioni reiterate di Spohr su un futuro consolidamento del settore.
