Skymark ordina 4 A380

Concordo, Skymark ha razionalizzato la flotta sui 737-800 eliminando da poco i 767-300ER. Come pensa di riempire gli A380 se non riusciva a farlo con i 767.

Qui non c'è da remare, viaggiano nel lusso più sfrenato (gira voce che i sedili siano singoli e pergiunta imbottiti!)
In cuor tuo, passeresti 15 ore in un pitch come su FR? Di questo si tratta, non di viaggiare in first o biz, ma del fatto che ti serve il fisioterapista quando arrivi.
il pitch di ALL economy è uguale esattamente a quello che trovi su Air France. Solo che nello spazio di business e first di posti in eco ce ne stanno di più

Non credo sia esattamente così.
Ad esempio LH sul ponte principale ha 420 posti di Y con un pitch di 32', mentre sul piano superiore, credo che potrebbero starci circa 300 poltrone con la stessa configurazione. Il totale sarebbe attorno ai 720 posti e poichè il layout in larghezza è fisso (3-4-3 sotto e 2-4-2 sopra), credo che per arrivare a 850 posti il pitch si dovrebbe ridurre e nemmeno di poco.

Perche' spesso , anche con loro si superano le 15 ore di volo/permanenza a bordo dei loro 767/757. E , ad occhio , non credo che sia di molto superiore.

Ho usato NO per andare a Creta, il loro 738 ha configurazione simile a FR (186 posti contro i 189). Ho anche usato il 767 di Air Europe una decina di anni fa per Male, anche lì lo spazio non abbondava di sicuro.

Guardando su Seatguru, i 763 AZ sono configurati con 20F + 225Y (pitch 32), Blupanorama ha i 763 con 12F + 264Y: non è messo il pitch, immagino si stia più stretti.
Skymark potrebbe arrivare a ordinare fino a 15 A380, la configurazione è molto meno drammatica del previsto (394 posti su 2 classi).
Tra le prime destinazioni Londra, NY, Francoforte. A seguire Los Angeles, Roma, Melbourne, Honolulu tra le altre.
Spero solo non diventi una sorta di Oasis HK, con tante ambizioni iniziali e finita come finita.
Skymark May Order 15 Airbus A380s in International Expansion

Skymark Airlines Inc., Japan’s biggest low-cost carrier, said it may order as many as 15 Airbus SAS A380 superjumbos as it adds international flights.
The planes, which would be delivered from 2014, would fly to cities including London, Frankfurt and New York, President Shinichi Nishikubo told reporters in Tokyo today. The carrier plans to fit the superjumbos with 394 seats, divided between business and premium economy.
Skymark plunged 16 percent on Nov. 9 in Tokyo trading after first announcing plans to add A380s and challenge All Nippon Airways Co. and Japan Airlines Corp. on overseas routes. The carrier currently only flies scheduled domestic services using a fleet of 15 all-economy Boeing Co. 737 planes.
The airline has signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus covering the purchase of four A380s, the planemaker said in a statement today. Skymark intends to buy two of the aircraft itself and to lease the other two, Nishikubo said.
The carrier intends for the A380s to be profitable in the first year of operation, he said. Future destinations will include Los Angeles, Honolulu, Melbourne and Rome, he said.
Skymark, which is listed on the start-up Mothers section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, fell 1 percent to 760 yen at the close of trading today. The airline announced its A380 fleet plans after the market closed.

394 posti??? Sono meno di tutte le altre configurazioni ad ora esistenti... mi sà tanto di errore.
E poi la frase "The carrier plans to fit the superjumbos with 394 seats, divided between business and premium economy" che significherebbe? Non c'è la economy, solo la business e la premium?

I 394 posti divisi tra J e premium Y sono riportati in tutti i comunicati che appaiono su Google e comunque sarebbero coerenti con lo spazio a bordo del 380 rapportato a quel tipo di configurazione. Dal supposto A380 "sardina" per servizi interni, siamo passati alla configurazione più "premium" in assoluto per i voli LR. Vedremo se avranno davvero il coraggio di proporre un layout così ardito.

Scusami, devo aver capito male.
Mi stai dicendo che un LCC comprerà 4 A380 e li configurerà con un totale di 394 posti divisi tra premium economy e business? A fronte dei 450 posti di Qantas, 471 di Singapore Airlines e oltre 500 per Lufthansa, Air France e Emirates?
Se così fosse capisco la perdita di 16 punti percentuali del titolo in borsa.
