Norse Atlantic Airways launches ticket sales between Paris and New York JFK with one way fares starting from €219

Today, Norse Atlantic Airways has opened ticket sales for flights between Paris and New York on www.flynorse.com. Customers will be able to take advantage of affordable fares and enjoy a quality service on board modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The daily direct service will commence on 26th March 2023.

Fares start from €219 one way, including all applicable taxes. The first flight departing Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport to New York JFK will take place on 26th March 2023. Norse Atlantic will offer a daily service between the two cities.

The daily flight will depart from Paris at 19.45 and arrive in New York at 22.00 local time. The return departs New York at 00.30 and lands in Paris at 14.05 local time.

Norse Atlantic offers two cabin choices, Economy and Premium. Passengers can choose from a simple range of fares, Light, Classic and Plus, that reflect the way that they want to travel, and which options are important to them. Light fares represent Norse’s value option while Plus fares include the maximum baggage allowance, two meal services an enhanced airport and onboard experience and increased ticket flexibility.

The large and spacious Boeing 787 Dreamliner cabin offers passengers a relaxed and comfortable travel experience with each seat including a personal state of the art entertainment experience. Today, Norse Atlantic Airways has announced the launch of ticket sales between Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and New York JFK. The new route will become the fifth European destination served by Norse from JFK, the daily service will begin operations on 19th June 2023 with fares starting from €239 one way including taxes.

Economy Light fares from Rome to New York start at €239 one way including taxes and €550 in Premium Light.

Customers on both sides of the Atlantic will be able to enjoy value, excellent onboard service and comfort while travelling between these two culturally vibrant and exciting cities. The addition of Rome to our network will provide another gateway to Europe and strengthen our presence in New York,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO Norse Atlantic Airways.

The flight will depart Rome (FCO) at 19.30 and land in JFK at 23.00, the return flight departs JFK at 01.00 and lands in Rome at 15.45.

I prezzi mi sembrano allineati alle altre compagnie, solo con orari pessimi…. Non capisco perché dovrei scegliere loro?

Mah…perchè ad esempio qui puoi lavorare ancora un giorno intero prima di andare in vacanza (magari partendo venerdì sera), così come potersi permettere una intera giornata a Ny prima di ripartire. Arrivi li e crolli anziché dover resistere al sonno, torni qui e tempo poche ore vai a letto anziché atterrare la mattina e dover sopportare un giorno intero.
Più o meno la stessa dinamica per gli americani , quindi tanto malvagi non li trovo personalmente.
Certo, nessun altro vettore si può permettere chiaramente questi orari per questioni di connections e beyond network.

Mah…perchè ad esempio qui puoi lavorare ancora un giorno intero prima di andare in vacanza (magari partendo venerdì sera), così come potersi permettere una intera giornata a Ny prima di ripartire. Arrivi li e crolli anziché dover resistere al sonno, torni qui e tempo poche ore vai a letto anziché atterrare la mattina e dover sopportare un giorno intero.
Più o meno la stessa dinamica per gli americani , quindi tanto malvagi non li trovo personalmente.
Certo, nessun altro vettore si può permettere chiaramente questi orari per questioni di connections e beyond network.
Magari come inbound in Italia può anche avere senso….ma in direzione opposta, butti due giornate inutilmente. Comunque orari appparte perché dovrei preferirlo a una Delta qualsiasi visto il costo comparabile?

Magari come inbound in Italia può anche avere senso….ma in direzione opposta, butti due giornate inutilmente. Comunque orari appparte perché dovrei preferirlo a una Delta qualsiasi visto il costo comparabile?
dipende come la vedi invece; perché se parto venerdì sera dopo il lavoro il giorno lo guadagno eccome anziché dover partire sabato. Idem al ritorno; parto sabato sera tardi potendo ancora cenare a Manhattan, mentre con tutte le major dopo pranzo devi andar via.
Poi oh, mica che gli voglio tirar la volata a questi, anzi! 🤣
Ma si fa per parlare e io da viaggiatore lo prenderei in considerazione questo schedule, operato peraltro con 787.

I LF non generano revenue 😂😂😂😂

Mi domando cosa li spinga ad aprire il 10° volo su New York combattendo contro le 3 Major USA ( AA/DL/UA) + ITA quando ci sono rotte con molta meno concorrenza e molta richiesta sull'estate. Penso a Los Angeles e Miami che hanno solo ITA.

Mi domando cosa li spinga ad aprire il 10° volo su New York combattendo contro le 3 Major USA ( AA/DL/UA) + ITA quando ci sono rotte con molta meno concorrenza e molta richiesta sull'estate. Penso a Los Angeles e Miami che hanno solo ITA.
Cosa li spinge? Una domanda senza precedenti. Vai a vedere le dispo/tariffe per la S23, soprattutto lato US POS.

Va anche detto che se c'è la domanda arriveranno altre frequenze delle major, AZ ad esempio operava 3xd ora ITA solo 2xd. Va anche detto che per il loro business meglio una destinazione ad alta capacità con concorrenza che destinazioni più lunghe e sottili con meno concorrenza.

Le frequenze ormai son quelle , dubito ne arrivino di nuove francamente
