Wittmund Base Tour 21 & 22. August 2007

Hi gents,

after a few very quite weeks , it was time again for a base visit.... to listen to the real General Electric J79-GE17A.

Its been a while since I last posted here on Forum Aviazione Civile. Also a big thank you to everybody who has shared their pictures with us.... [:304]

And where else I should go as to the "HOME OF THE PHANTOMS" in Wittmund....
Despite the weather and light conditions on day 1, I really enjoyed day 2 with lots of sunshine and 26°C - what a day!
On each day the airbase burst into life shortly prior 8 local with an impressive launch of the QRA [:306]

Well done to all who made that trip possible, especially to Kroni, and our hosts on base too [:304] [:304]

We had two great days of "Phantom" flying ... plus Scooters too. And as I´m still working on my pictures too,more will follow......!

I hope you enjoy looking and comments are more as welcome [:306]

Nothing even comes close to a mighty Phantom....!!!
