Hi gents,

On April 15, 2010 our nightshooting was set for the VORTEX, main subject was to capture this beauty during a nightshooting...
Here are now the "final" impressions, which we kept "secret", till the promo-stuff was done now by Johan in his stunning brochure for the team!

My idea was also to put the "travel-pod" below the jet too, which looks great underneath the a/c.
And especially with the "magic-hour" in the background and the nice special color in black/blue, the result was a nice shooting with "VORTEX".

Thanks must go to everyone involved, and of course to Maxime and Mitch, and all the air and ground crews that worked hard to prepare the specially adorned "VORTEX", and make this shooting to happen..... from the tow-truck driver, fire dept, technicians who were responsible for positing the F-16 as we like to have it and everyone did an extraordinary job on that day..... from illuminate the jet, technicians who were responsible for switching on all lights on the mighty "VORTEX", etc. and everyone did an extraordinary job!!!
The aircraft ( FA-110 ) is adopted with the name "Vortex", indicating the striping that was painted on the wings and fuselage. The design was again realised by Johan Wolfs and Peter Verheyen, thoroughly executed by the KB paintshop.

Here you will find my personal highlights from that shooting @ KBee in April and all the hard work has paid off, and the results are these great images.

Ok enough of my blabla, the images will tell the rest of the story.

Cheers,
Mick

After we used some additional water, we got the "mirror effect"

Luckily the weather was great with a stunning sunset.....

With some help of the volcano ash cloud, we got sensational images

Now it was time for the second part of the shooting - the well know "magic hour", because with the blue/black "VORTEX" and the magic hour in blue we should get decent images.....

Then finally the time came...when the magic hour was there - and what a great scene
