Aggiornamento da AvHerald (che conferma la toccata multipla)
On Sep 6th 2019 The Aviation Herald received new information from Captain Bernd Kai von Hoesslin TRI B737/Ret. (former B738 and B38M Captain for Ethiopian Airlines having left the company in April 2019, who asked specifically to be identified as source) indicating the aircraft suffered a bounced landing, touched down hard causing damage to the nose gear, a nose wheel fractured, the tyre separated from the rim and hit an engine (CFM56) inlet. The captain was recently upgraded to become captain, the first officer recently joined the airline. Capt. Hoesslin commented: "Another unstabilized approach after RNAV 07R where one comes in very high at the MDA/DA if the AP is allowed to follow the vertical path. Leads to well over 1200 ft min dive into the flare."
