Turkish Airlines Adds Mauritius / Madagascar Service from Dec 2015

Turkish Airlines starting December 2015 introduces new service to Mauritius and Madagascar, which sees the launch of Istanbul Ataturk – Mauritius – Antananarivo route from 15DEC15. Initially service operates 3 times a week, but this will be increased to 4 weekly from 08FEB16.

Airbus A340-300 will be operating this route upon launch, however it’ll later switch to A330-300 from 26JAN16.

TK161 TNR1630 – 1920MRU2035 – 0415+1IST 333 x357

TK does not have local traffic rights between Mauritius and Madagascar. Service operates Day 246 from 15DEC15 to 07FEB16.

Turkish Airlines this week opened reservation for Northern summer 2016 season for Istanbul Ataturk – Mauritius – Antananarivo market, scheduled to begin on 15DEC15.
For Northern summer season from 27MAR16, the airline operates this route 3 times a week with Airbus A330-300 (Northern winter sees 4 weekly flights).

Turkish Airlines Adds Seychelles Service from late-Oct 2016

Turkish Airlines in last week’s schedule update opened reservation for its planned Istanbul Ataturk – Mahe Island (Seychelles) service, with 3 weekly flights scheduled. Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be operating this route from 31OCT16.

Una curiosità: sulla rivista di bordo TK di questo mese c'è una pubblicità del nuovo volo per Bogotá e Panama -- ma mi sa che hanno invertito le didascalie :D
