Hi gents,
The weather forecast for Friday was promising, so we couldn't resist to drive to Florennes. A great day it turned out to be. Only two A/C ( Tornado ECR & Polish Viper ) remained on the platform (Polish F-16 and a German Tornado).
Unfortunately the Swiss Hornets and the RAF Hawks for for that day were all cancelled, dont know why, but it was still worth as we were also rewarded with three FAF Alpha Jets on a long range Navigation Approuch from Tours , as @ Crossbow mentioned already.
We had even a TBM-700 for entertainment too, as we were waiting for the TLP package that day, plus a couple of locals too.
Beside that was the spec c/s "MATRIX" Viper, so at all a very succesfull day @ Florennes....
My personal highlights for that actual course were the Polish "Jastrzab" again, but my main focus during this TLP course, were 4 Greek Mirage 2000-5EG from 331 Mira in Tanagra..... delivered in November 2008, these beauties still looking brandnew :yahoo: :yahoo:
One more TLP to go....
Ok enough of my blabla, and the impressions will tell the rest of the story.
