Aeroflot lancia il wi-fi su 26 aerei LR

Russia’s Aeroflot will equip 26 long-haul aircraft with Wi-Fi Internet access by year end. According to a carrier statement, the service will be available in the first quarter on 12 Airbus A330s and three Boeing 777s to be delivered soon. During the year it plans to implement Internet on one more 777 and seven A330s. Aeroflot will add six more Wi-Fi-equipped 777s in 2014, three in 2015 and three in 2016.

Aeroflot has partnered with OnAir to develop its inflight connectivity program. The carrier’s Wi-Fi Internet access system has been tested and is available on five A330s.

Aeroflot, which launched its Internet program in 2010, was the first Russian airline to provide onboard mobile connection and Internet access. “Our aim is to make Wi-Fi access available on all our long-haul aircraft,” Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev said.

Russia’s Transaero also launched onboard Internet last year.

Il traffico Italia-Russia, e in particolar modo la direttrice Italia-Mosca, sta letteralmente esplodendo come traffico.

SU adesso ha 9 voli giornalieri Sheremetyevo-Italia (3 Roma/3 Milano/2 Venezia/1 Bologna). Ci possono essere presupposti per un volo verso un'altra città? A me vengono in mente in prima istanza Firenze (ma qui c'è sempre il problema pista) e Napoli. Non escluderei nemmeno Torino e Catania sebbene con connotazioni completamente differenti.

Bergamo c'è EN, Verona c'è EN e S7, Genova c'è S7....quindi non rimane molto altro. Forse Rimini, ma qui c'è una marea di voli in mano alle charter.

Tempo di elezioni....a Roma si pensa ad incatenarsi alle poltrone mica a strategie commerciali! Windjet chiusa? Obbiettivo raggiunto e gli stranieri ridono.

TRN c' era, era uno dei voli AZ pagato a caro prezzo dalla Regione Piemonte, ed apparentemente molto sostenuto dalla camera di commercio. Se ci fosse con Aeroflot, ci sarebbero anche tante prosecuzioni possibili, e potrebbe andare meglio. Con AZ non poteva funzionare, non credo che avessero in mente un discorso di prosecuzioni (sempre possibili ma fai da te).

February 6, 2013, Moscow.– JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” summed up traffic and capacity statistics for December and 12 months of 2012.

In December 2012passenger traffic increased by 16.3% against the same period in 2011 and totaled 1,393.6 ths passengers. International passenger traffic rose by 22.9% (+154.0 ths passengers) reaching 825.9 ths passengers. The number of passengers served on domestic lines was 567.7 ths which is 7.8% more (+41.3 ths passengers) compared to the result of December 2011.

Seat load factor in December 2012 rose by 1.0 p.p. compared to December 2011 and reached 73.6%. Revenue load factor reached 61.6% (+1.1 p.p. compared to December 2011).

Passenger turnover of the company went up by 19.7% against the same period in 2011 and reached 4,139 mln passenger-kilometers. International passenger turnover totaled 2,862 mln passenger-kilometers which is 25.0% more compared to the same period of 2011. The domestic passenger turnover increased by 9.3% against December 2011 and amounted to 1,277 mln passenger-kilometers.

Aeroflot cargo-mail tonnage totaled 16,155 tonne which is 0.4% more compared to December 2011.

The results for 12 months of 2012 show that the number of carried passengers increased by 24.6% (+3,482 ths passengers) to become 17,656 ths passengers. The seat load factor totaled 77.9%, exceeding the result of the corresponding period of 2011 by 0.4 p.p. Passenger turnover of Aeroflot was 50,533 mln passenger-kilometers, which represents 20.3% (+8,512 mln pkm) increase compared with the results for 12 months of 2011.
