DELTA retires nwa “NW” code 05SEP10
DELTA on 05SEP10 officially retires subsidiary nwa’s “NW” code. A number of flight number changes has been revealed and adjusted in the reservation system on 09JAN10.
Notable changes are:
* NW250 – 349 series, as well as NW600 – 699 series on International flight, switches to “DL” code
* NW2000 – 2999, 7000 – 7999 series, switches to “DL” code
* DL codeshare flight numbers on “NW” coded flight, removes
NW International flights using DL aircraft or vice versa, sees following changes:
