Doveva avvenire nel 2006 il primo volo del Superjet forse decollerà questo mese,Roma Radar

Il primo volo del Superjet, previsto entro fine 2007, potrebbe ora avvenire in questo mese. Secondo quanto scrive Flight, sarebbe già in corso il montaggio finale del secondo e terzo esemplare. Lo scrive il settimanale britannico Flight citando fonti non identificate del gruppo russo OAK proprietario di Sukhoi. Il management spiega il ritardo del nuovo bireattore regionale - il cui primo volo era previsto entro il 2007 - con i ritardi da parte dei fornitori, a partire dalla certificazione del nuovo motore SaM 146 originariamente prevista per il 2006. Il cliente di lancio Aeroflot potrebbe ricevere i suoi primi Superjet 100 con un ritardo di 12-18 mesi.
 
E' una grande sfida per Alenia Aeronautica e per Sukhoi, speriamo bene.....

Armavia Superjet delivery delayed due to technical issues

Delivery of Armenian flag carrier Armavia's first Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional jet has been delayed due to technical issues.
The ceremony of handing over the aircraft was tentatively scheduled to take place in Moscow today.
But Armavia local representative Gagik Sarkisyan tells ATI that this has now been postponed for at least a week.
He says: "There are minor technical issues and acceptance-related paperwork that remain to be tackled. But we still intend to receive the aircraft before May."
Armavia has reached a compromise with its Yerevan Zvartnots base airport on paying arrears for ground-handling services, says Sarkisyan, who also refutes allegations that one of its leased Airbus A319s had been seized.
"We've had two aircraft under heavy checks in Europe and both are now back in service," he says. "Our mainline fleet again includes three A319s and three A320s."

Armavia Superjet conducts first revenue flight

Armavia's first Sukhoi Superjet 100 has performed its maiden revenue flight, only two days after delivery to the operator, marking the formal entry of the twinjet type into commercial service.

It flew from Yerevan Zvartnots to Moscow Sheremetyevo early today, carrying 90 passengers on board, as flight U8508.

Armavia's Superjet landed at 04:45, after a flight lasting some 2h 55min, arriving at Sheremetyevo's Terminal C. The aircraft replaced a larger Airbus A319 on the route.
