Aeroflot increases order for SuperJet 100 airliners to 40

Russia's flagship air carrier Aeroflot has increased its order for Sukhoi Superjet-100 medium-haul airliners to 40 from 30, Aeroflot General Director Vitaly Savelyev said on Thursday.

"We expect to get the planes next year. We have even increased our order and are now eager to buy about 40 airliners instead of 30," Savelyev told Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Sukhoi Company has said that it will supply Aeroflot with the first of the planes in March 2011, three months after the original due delivery date. Sukhoi Company has currently 150 firm orders for Sukhoi Superjet-100 airliners.

Dopo quello che ci hanno raccontato nei giorni scorsi, con questi nuovi Sukhoi ci sarà un beneficio enorme per l'economia italiana.

Questi vanno in Russi, dubito ci sia un ritorno per Finmeccanica.
Se li avesse acquistati AZ un ritorno per Fimeccanica e per lavoratori italiani ci sarebbe stato, che poi la decisione non fosse da impostare su questo è pacifico, ma un ritorno è vero che ci sarebbe stato.

Farfallina, magari sbaglio, ma mi risulta che la società sia maggioranza Finmeccanica e che gli allestimenti interni siano tutti eseguiti a VCE, per cui un ritorno c'e' ed anche cospicuo.....

SuperJet Int. non era destinata alla commercializzazione nel mercato occidentale? SU è mercato locale per Sukhoi. Non vedo il grande ritorno economico per la piccola % italiana di questo progetto con questo ordine.

Alenia ha anche il 25% di Sukhoi Civil Aircraft.

Strategic partner – ALENIA AERONAUTICA

In June 2007, Sukhoi Company, the Italian Finmeccanica Group, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Alenia Aeronautica signed a General Agreement to establish a Strategic Partnership. It outlined the scope of cooperation within the Sukhoi Superjet 100 Project and foundation of a joint venture.

This Agreement stipulates that Alenia Aeronautica is entitled to acquire 25% + 1 share in the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (subject to the governmental approval). Furthermore, the Agreement outlines the terms of the Italian participation in program financing of no less than 25%.

The completion of the acquisition of 25% + 1 share in the SCAC capital was announced on April 7, 2009. The value of the stock acquired by Alenia Aeronautica is of USD 183 mln (138 mln euro). This agreement makes the Sukhoi Superjet 100 Program the most relevant aviation partnership between Russia and Europe ever seen.

In 2007 Finmeccanica’s company Alenia Aeronautica and Sukhoi Holding formed SuperJet International, a joint venture (51% - Alenia Aeronautica, and 49% - Sukhoi Holding) based in Venice, responsible for marketing, sales and aircraft delivery in Europe, North and South America, Africa, Japan and Oceania as well as for worldwide logistic support for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional aircraft family. This enterprise is expected to produce the synergy effect and to efficiently promote Sukhoi Superjet 100 family in mature markets. In addition, it will offer aircraft customization for western customers and a full package of aftersales support throughout the world.

A meno di cambiamenti dell'ultimissimo minuto il primo in servizio sara' di Armavia. Che, tra l'altro, e' quello delle foto dell'incontro di Sochi.
Quello di SU dovrà (dovrebbe) entrare in servizio a Marzo. Rotta inaugurale top secret
