Singapore Airlines said on Wednesday it will reduce the number of flights connecting the city-state to parts of the United States, Europe, India and Thailand.

The frequency of flights will be reduced from Singapore to New Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai in India, while some flights to Bangkok and London will be suspended.

The frequency of all-business flights from Singapore to the US will also be reduced, but flights to Kuwait and Cairo will be increased.

Tagliano due frequenze settimanali su LHR, passando da 21 a 19. Considerando che hanno "upgradato" due dei tre servizi giornalieri da 747 ad A380, probabilmente hanno piú capacitá di quanta non ne avessero prima dell'introduzione del nuovo aeromobile.
Si tratta di un minimo aggiustamento fisiologico, ma pur sempre significativo perché su una delle tratte piú pregiate al mondo.

Segnalo che SQ a partire dal 10 marzo prossimo (circa 3 settimane prima di quanto inizialmente pianificato) ripristinerà la terza frequenza (del martedì) sulla FCO-SIN sospesa dallo scorso 7 febbraio. Non ho idea invece se ci siano altri aggiornamenti d'operativo sul network rimanente rispetto a quanto già pubblicato sopra.
