No motive has yet been found for the brutal killing of an SAS stewardess in her hotel room
Police are hunting for the killer of an SAS stewardess who was battered to death in a Copenhagen hotel room on Monday night.
Cleaning staff found the body of the 42-year-old Norwegian woman yesterday afternoon and police have not yet been able to find any trace of her attacker, the murder weapon or a motive.
However, they are hopeful that the hotel’s extensive security camera system will provide an image of the attacker.
‘I’ve never seen a workplace with so much surveillance in so many places,’ said Ove Dahl of the Copenhagen Police.
The 20th floor of the Radisson Blu hotel on Amager was sealed off following the discovery. The woman had checked into the hotel with three colleagues at around 4pm on Monday afternoon and a number of guests have said they heard loud noises coming from her room at around 8pm that night.
There was no sign of a break-in or theft and it appears the woman opened the door to her attacker. She died from being beaten severely about the head.
