The airline last month resumed flights to the northern Iraqi city of Erbil after a 20-year halt.
The company said Friday that as of Sept. 30 it would offer service to Baghdad International Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. It said it would use a Boeing 737 operated on behalf of Deutsche Lufthansa AG by Swiss aviation company PrivatAir.
The flight will take approximately four-and-a-half hours from Munich, and the return flight just under five hours.
Lufthansa's website says a ticket for the first flight Sept. 30 and returning Oct. 3 is euro1,029 ($1,261).
