Lufthansa to set up own private jet fleet of less than 10 planes by early 2008
FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Lufthansa AG will set up its own private jet fleet of "less than 10 aircraft" by early 2008, a spokeswoman told Thomson Financial News.
No financial details were disclosed.
In 2007, customer demand for Lufthansa's Private Jet service grew steadily and was slightly greater than the available supply, the company said.
Simultaneously, the company will end its cooperation with NetJets Europe in February 2008, through which it is offering its Private Jet service at the moment.
