14DEC2012: LGW to operate Niki EMB-190s on behalf of Air BerlinLGW - Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (HE, Dortmund Wickede (DTM)) will take over the seven EMB-190s currently operated by Niki (HG,Vienna International (VIE)) from Vienna International (VIE) by the end of March and then operate the aircraft on a wet-lease basis on behalf of Air Berlin (AB, Berlin Tegel (TXL)). The aircraft are expected to then be based at Berlin Tegel (TXL) and Dusseldorf International (DUS). LGW already operates ten Dash 8-400s on behalf of its close partner Air Berlin.
