Qui tutti pensano ai passeggeri, alle merci, agli aerei...
Ma ai dipendenti aeroportuali e naviganti non ci pensa nessuno???
Cosa faranno tutte quelle ore in aeroporto senza fare un'emerita cippa?

Beh sarebbe davvero interessante capire come gestiscono le operazioni, atteso che con il loro sistema hub&spoke se io spedisco un pacco da Palermo a Valencia questo passa comunque nel loro HUB europeo, che in questa situazione è INOP mentre, con altro percorso, il servizio sarebbe assicurato.
Comunque paralizzare l'intero sistema non deve essere un bel colpo nemmeno per loro.
Immagino che potenzieranno al massimo il settore stradale, mettendo in servizio tutti i camion che hanno.
Penso che nelle prossime 48 ore chiunque abbia un camion od un pullman GT in Europa faccia sicuramente affari d'oro.....
Ragazzi ricordatevi però che se uno deve mandare merci e/o andare in UK non è che se arriva a FCO o MPX gli si risolvere la situaizone
Probabilmente 48/72 ore di serrata forzata sono "sopportabili" anche per le merci. Oltre, se la cosa non si risolverà meteorologicamente, qualcosa dovra veramente succedere.
No si parla di polvere nella stratosfera, in ogni caso la nube arriverà in italia, ma non creerà i problemi che ha creato nel nord europa. Anche perche' le correnti saranno diverse..

Volcanic Ash in Scotland: Health Advice Updated
Updated information on weather patterns in the UK now indicates that volcanic ash associated with the current eruption in Iceland will reach ground level over the UK, starting in Scotland this evening before moving south over the course of the night.
Based on this, updated information for the public is given below by Health Protection Scotland, in conjunction with the Health Protection Agency and the Met Office.
It is important to stress that the concentration of particles which does reach ground level is likely to be low and should not cause serious harm. If people are outside this evening and notice symptoms such as itchy or irritated eyes, runny nose, sore throat or dry cough, or if they notice a dusty haze in the air or can smell sulphur, rotten eggs, or a strong acidic smell, they may wish to limit their activities outdoors or return indoors. Those with existing respiratory conditions such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema and asthma may notice these effects more than others and should ensure they have any inhalers or other medications with them.
Any such health effects are likely to be short term. Health Protection Scotland, the Health Protection Agency and the Met Office will continue to monitor the situation and issue any further advice or updates as necessary as the weather changes.
Low concentrations of volcanic dust, which may contain low levels of sulphur dioxide, are also expected to ground with the plume, although this is not expected to be a significant threat to public health.
Any enquiries on the likely duration of the ash plume over Scotland and the UK should be addressed to the Met Office.

L'Islanda e' un paese che non si fa sentire mai ma quando lo fa fa un gran casino, prima la bancarotta economica e adesso il vulcano.

Spazio aereo UK chiuso fino a domani alle 13, ma qualche volo da Nord Irlanda e Scozia potrebbe tornare ad operare (secondo NATS).
Il problema maggiore è la partenza del vulcano poi tornerà alla normalità....pure se continuera' ad esserci cenere...
