Iraqi Airways on 25APR13 has resumed Baghdad – Frankfurt service, after 22 years of service suspension. The carrier currently operates 1 weekly service on board Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.

In addition, the airline on 07MAY13 opened 1 weekly Sulaymaniyah – Dusseldorf route, also with Boeing 777-200LR.

Spero che possa arrivare a FCO...Una volta veniva..Se non ricordo male fine anni80 inizio 90!!

Beh. una flotta molto omogenea, direi! Ma vogliono arrivare ad avere un aereo per ogni tipologia e Brand? :)

mi sa che si devono accontentare di quello che trovano in giro. Mi sembra poi che avessero anche un ordine per i 737

Con gli ordini per 737 e 787 diventeranno una compagnia non male! In bocca al lupo!

L'affare dei Bombardier se ricordo bene era costato la testa di un Ministro dei Trasporti, quando era venuto fuori che non avevano l'autonomia per arrivare a Dubai.
Altrimenti, se ricordo bene la flotta di Iraqi Airways era composta, fino alle sanzioni, da Boeing (747, 737 e 727).

Iraqi Airways has inaugurated services to Vienna (VIE) on 25 April, launching services fromBaghdad (BGW) and Erbil (EBL), as well as a new route to Najaf (NJF) on 27 April, following a 24-year cessation in operations to the Austrian capital. Twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays) the airline will fly Baghdad-Erbil-Vienna-Erbil-Baghdad, and it will also operate a Najaf-Baghdad-Vienna-Baghdad-Najaf on a weekly basis (Sundays). Services will be flown by either 737-800s or A320s, depending on operational requirements. Austrian Airlines is the only incumbent airline, providing daily services to Erbil and thrice-weekly flights to Baghdad.

L'anno scorso avevano chiesto FCO-BGW in AZA, chissà magari qualche pensiero lo avevano.
