IndiGo sbarca in Europa: nuovi voli per Amsterdam e Manchester. Aprono anche Copenaghen

La compagnia indiana IndiGo apre al lungo raggio e sbarca in Europa con nuove rotte verso Amsterdam e Manchester, suppongo da Delhi anche se non è specificato nel comunicato stampa. Le rotte saranno entrambe 3x week e partiranno da luglio. Saranno operate inizialmente con un 789 noleggiato da Norse, in attesa di ricevere gli A350 e gli A321XLR ordinati.

Hanno progetti per espandersi notevolmente in Europa, chissà che anche l'Italia possa rientrare nei loro piani.

Viene rotto il monopolio di Air India, che se non sbaglio finora era l'unica compagnia indiana a volare sul lungo raggio.

IndiGo e SpiceJet si sono viste ogni tanto a BGY nel post covid con voli charter (o semi charterizzati) tra la Lombardia e l'India. Non mi stupirei se arrivasse su BGY con un servizio di linea

IndiGo Enhances Network in Europe; Connects Mumbai to Copenhagen from 8 October 2025

National, September 16, 2025: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has announced the launch of flightsbetween Mumbai and Copenhagen (Denmark), starting 08 October 2025. IndiGo will operate thriceweekly flights on the route using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, taken on wet/damp lease fromNorse Atlantic Airways. With this, IndiGo further expands its international network into NorthernEurope, making Copenhagen its 44th international and 138th overall destination.

Customers, on this route, will have the option of flying in Economy class as well as IndiGo’s tailor-madebusiness product, IndiGoStretch, and can enjoy complimentary hot meals and beverages along with inflight entertainment offering close to 300 hours of engaging content. The flights are now open for saleon all platforms, including IndiGo’s website (www.goIndiGo.in), mobile app, and across authorizedtravel partners.

Per fare aeroporto italiano - CPH o ATH - Mumbai, anzi Bombay, con connessione fai-da-te o viene fuori un prezzo arciultrasuperstracciato o anche no, grazie.
Sono d'accordo in pieno con Dancrane per le aperture extra Italia che non hanno riflessi per i viaggiatori italiani. Qui sul forum gli aviopirla sanno benissimo dove e come cercare voli e connessioni strane, con rischi annessi e connessi; ai passeggeri normali credo che interessino tra zero e niente.
