Nell'immagine si vede benissimo che mancano i due bulloni che univano il DFDR allo chassis e gli altri due lesionati; Quindi si può immaginare che razza di accelerazione ha subito l'intera struttura.

Qualche giorno fa su uno dei canali della CBC hanno fatto vedere un documentario sull'incidente dell'AF447. Si parlava di "supercooled liquid water" che si sarebbe condensata sui tubi pitot. Qualcuno ha letto qualcosa su questa ipotesi? Speriamo di avere informazioni decisive dal FDR appena recuperato, e magari anche dal VCR se si riesce a trovare.

The Remora 6000 made a further dive yesterday evening. The search operations are continuing in order to localize the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR).
After the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) was raised, the BEA, as agreed, asked the French Navy to send a patrol boat to transport the recorders to Cayenne (French Guyana), from where they will be transferred by airplane to the BEA in Le Bourget.
The BEA Investigator-in-Charge, an officer from the French judicial police and an investigator from CENIPA (the Brazilian equivalent of the BEA) will be present during the transfer from the Ile de Sein to the BEA, which should take around ten days.
At present, there are 69 people on board the ship, an officer from the Brazilian Navy having joined last Friday (29 April).

Improbabile, quasi sicuramente saranno presenti almeno i brasiliani, più probabilmente chi vorrà essere presente delle parti in causa.
Come c'è scritto un ufficiale brasiliano facente parte della commissione era presente durante il trasferimento.

AF447 recovery team retrieves cockpit-voice recorder

Search personnel have located and raised the cockpit-voice recorder of the Air France Airbus A330 which crashed in the South Atlantic, two days after retrieving the flight-data recorder.
French investigation agency Bureau d'Enquetes et d'Analyses says the second recorder was "localised and identified" at 21:50UTC on 2 May and raised by underwater remote vehicle at 02:40UTC today.
Investigators in Paris are likely to receive the recorders from flight AF447 in about 10 days' time, following their recovery from the Atlantic sea bed.

E quindi, tutto ciò che può portare alla luce la verità non è più in fondo all'oceano. Sperando che i dati siano ora perfettamente leggibili non ci resta che aspettare.
Effettivamente era difficile pensare che dopo quasi 2 anni si sarebbe fatto un simile passo.

Ottimo, trovato anche il Cockpit Voice Recorder, speriamo che le scatole nere siano leggibili e che ci permettano di capire che cosa è successo!

Davvero una bella notizia. Non avrei mai creduto che saremmo giunti ad un risultato simile, dopo quasi due anni.
Mi associo: sono stati spesi un sacco di soldi per recuperare le scatole nere. Da un punto di vista logistico è stata un'operazione quasi unica. A chi teme che i francesi vogliano insabbiare tutto domando se non fosse più semplice lasciare le scatole nere in fondo all'oceano - visto che già c'erano - anziché investire capitali per recuperarle e poi sabotarle.
Davvero un ottimo lavoro.
