Il gruppo Lufthansa supera la soglia dei 90 milioni di pax

Si chiude con dati al rialzo il 2010 del Gruppo Lufthansa. Sul fronte del traffico il colosso tedesco ha registrato un incremento pari al 17,2% rispetto al 2009: gli scorsi 12 mesi hanno visto movimentare un totale di 90,2 milioni di passeggeri. Un risultato soddisfacente, anche alla luce dell’aumento di capacità, che nel 2010 è stato del 12,1%, e dell’incremento dei ricavi del 14%. Particolarmente rilevanti le preformance del Medioriente e della regione africana, le due zone in cui il Gruppo Lh ha registrato i migliori risultati di traffico nel 2010.

Number of transported passengers rises to 90.2 million / Group increases sales of seat and freight tonne-kilometres and improves capacity utilisation
Deutsche Lufthansa AG significantly improved its traffic performance in 2010 compared with the previous year. All in all, the airlines in the Group welcomed 90.2 million passengers on board their flights over the past twelve months. This represents an increase of 17.2 per cent over the previous year. Capacity was up by 12.1 per cent, revenue seat-kilometres grew by 14 per cent. The seat load factor rose accordingly by 1.4 percentage points. Passenger numbers increased in all traffic regions, whereby the steepest growth occurred in the Middle East and Africa region. During the year, the Lufthansa Group transported around two million tonnes of freight and mail, an increase year-on-year of more than 18 per cent. The cargo load factor rose by 7.4 percentage points to 68 per cent. The number of flights was up by 13.1 per cent to a total of 1,014,692.

A total of 90.2 million passengers flew with the airlines in the Lufthansa Passenger Airline Group. Of the total, 58.9 million flew with Lufthansa Passenger Airlines. The passenger count at Lufthansa thus rose by 5.9 per cent compared to 2009 figures. Over the past year, capacity at Lufthansa was up by 3.1 per cent. Revenue seat-kilometres grew by 5.4 per cent. The seat load factor rose by 1.7 percentage points to 79.4 per cent. Passenger numbers increased in all traffic regions, whereby the steepest growth occurred in the Middle East and Africa region. Swiss International Air Lines transported 14.2 million passengers in 2010, Austrian Airlines welcomed 10.9 million passengers on board its flights and 6.2 million passengers flew with bmi.

Lufthansa Cargo also turned in a strong performance: During the year, the company transported around 1.8 million tonnes of cargo and mail, an increase of 18.2 per cent on the year-earlier level. The cargo load factor climbed by 7.3 percentage points to 70.9 per cent.

The financial results of the Lufthansa Group in the 2010 business year will be published on 17 March 2011 and will be available for download at www.lufthansa.com/investor-relations from 8.00 am.

Volo premio ai dipendenti per il risultato ragiunto?:D
 
Magari è stato commissionato da qualche grossa azienda tedesca per qualche meeting di 'lavoro' a Honolulu.

E' certamente lunga, ma sono 'solo' un 500km più di un volo di linea tipo CDG-SCL di AF.
Però bisogna vedere anche se la rotta sia quella e quanto pieno sia l'aeromobile.
 
Potrebbe diventare il volo più lungo mai operato da LH.

Il precedente era un FRA-SCL o un FRA-HNL ed entrambi sono più corti di questo.
 
Scusate la domanda, ma quanto può costare al tour operator fare un noleggio aereo di questo tipo? anche perchè ci sono da spostare diversi equipaggi.
