Iberia cesserà le operazioni su UK e su alcune destinazioni USA


Ci terrei a sottolineare che questa sparata è uscita dai sindacati piloti, SEPLA in primis. La stragrande maggioranza dei dipendenti IB e i loro sindacati hanno firmato gli accordi con IAG, mentre i piloti no, nonostante siano una delle categorie meno produttive nell'intero comparto di Iberia.

La sparata è un bluff difficile da credere perchè vorrebbe dire che BA, subentrando a IB in un mese, ha in media tre macchine shorthaul che non usa al giorno.
 
Non ho più trovato un thread IAG generico, quindi uso questo visto che si parla di LR:

Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas) parent IAG has reportedly placed options for a total of forty-four long-haul aircraft; thirty-two Airbus A350-900s and twelve B787-9s with Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) and Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) respectively. The machines would be used to replace the Spanish carrier's current fleet of thirteen A340-300s, seventeen A340-600s as well as its eight A330-300s, the first four of which have only just been delivered. The order was made public by Iberia chief executive, Luis Gallego though it is still subject to the airline's satisfactory restructuring and the business transitioning into profitable growth.
