Russian Airbus A321 makes safe emergency landing at Sharm El Sheikh Airport

Sharm El Sheikh International Airport safely handled an emergency landing of a Russian Ural Air" Airbus A321 on Friday evening.

Two russian airline planes were forced to return to their departure airports due to engine failure shortly after takeoff.

The first incident occurred with an Airbus A321neo of Ural Airlines, which was flying from Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, to Yekaterinburg. At an altitude of 4,500 meters, the left engine of the plane failed.

The second incident occurred with a Boeing 737 of NordStar Airlines, which was flying from Volgograd to Yekaterinburg on the evening of January 2. At an altitude of 11,300 meters, the left engine of the plane also failed.
 
Ural Airlines has almost completed the dismantling of Airbus A320 RA-73805 which made a forced landing in a wheat field in the Novosibirsk region in September 2023.

The cabin interior, avionics, engines, landing gear and anything else that could be used as spares in other aircraft has been removed, and these have been dispatched to Yekaterinburg for inspection and technical evaluation to ensure they are fully serviceable.

The fuselage, wing consoles and tail unit of the aircraft have been deemed to have been stressed too much during the landing on the unpaved surface, and will thus be scrapped on site.

Giovedì scorso, all'arrivo del Boeing 737 (RA-73098) da Mosca all'aeroporto di Hurghada, durante un'ispezione post-volo, il personale di terra ha scoperto un cavo estraneo sporgente lungo cinque metri.

A quanto pare si tratta di un cavo utilizzato per la messa a terra durante il rifornimento.

I dipendenti della Sheremetyevo Handling hanno dimenticato di slacciarlo prima della partenza dall'aeroporto della capitale.

Evita di dare retta alle varie c....e dei giornalai
La ragione principale di tutta la scenata è che ovviamente Al Masra non vola regolarmente su POZ, non ha quindi nessun agreement con nessuno dei supplier dell'aeroporto e quindi nulla si muove a meno che le persone non abbiano la certezza che non si paghi tutto fino all'ultimo centesimo.

Per quando riguarda non far sbarcare i pax, è anche questa prassi comune quando o il terminal non ha la capacità di accettare i pax o, per esempio, la polizia di frontiera non c'è. In questo caso, visto che i pax erano russi, va considerata appunto la nazionalità.

Why did you ban listed third country airlines operating domestic flights in Russia?

The 16th package introduces a possibility to list third-country airlines operating domestic flights in Russia or supplying aviation goods to Russian airlines or for domestic flight in Russia. This measure is aimed at targeting those operators that help Russia mitigate the impact of EU aviation sanctions. If listed, these airlines would face a ban on flying to the EU. There would be no consequences for third-country airlines merely flying over Russia.

Russia Floats Idea of Help from Kazakh Airlines

Russia is talking to Kazakhstan and other “friendly countries” about the possibility of foreign airlines flying domestic routes inside Russia, according to Russian state news agency Tass.

The report comes as Russia’s civil aviation industry struggles under the impact of Western sanctions that were implemented after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in early 2022. Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit did not mention the sanctions in comments that were reported by Tass this week, but he referred generally to a global shortage of aircraft.

“We are negotiating with friendly countries,” Starovoit said to journalists at a forum in Yekaterinburg, Russia. “For example, we are negotiating with Kazakhstan.”
