Grecia-Atterraggio emergenza presidente Botswana

Sbaglio o sempre l'aereo presidenziale del Botswana (un bae 125) fu protagonista qualche anno fa di un atterraggio di emergenza perchè colpito da un missile ad uno dei motori??

...ma perché non atterrare ad esempio a Johannesburg e lì prendere la First di qualche compagnia di un Paese europeo amico???

no il BAe 125 è l' attuale Raytheon Hawker 800, bizjet che Chris dovrebbe conoscere molto bene.

La mia domanda era riferita al fatto che se fosse il G-IV nella foto che ho postato l'aereo che aveva avuto una crepa nel vetro.

Qui un breve resoconto dell'accaduto:
"Anyone who has any doubts about the toughness of the DH125/ Hawker need only refer back to 1988 when a Hawker 800 survived an attack over Africa by 2 air-to-air missiles fired from an Angolan Air force MiG21. The first missile hit the Hawker’s starboard engine, knocking it off the aircraft, and the second missile, fortunately, locked onto the falling engine. The crew was able to land the Hawker—number 112 in the 800 series—at a remote strip in the African bush and the owner of the aircraft, the Government of Botswana, was so impressed with the airplane’s structural integrity that they ordered a new Hawker 800. Missile damage was repaired and the aircraft was sold to a customer in South America who, I believe, may still be operating the airplane today."
