Finnair was world’s most punctual airline in August
Finnair was the world’s most punctual major international airline in August in terms of flight arrivals, according to data released by the independent FlightStats aviation operational research agency. During the month, oneworld’s Nordic member airline landed 93.18 per cent of its flights on time.
Two other oneworld carriers made it to the month’s top ten list – Iberia, at eighth, with an 89.87 per cent record, and Japan Airlines, at tenth, with 88.28 per cent on time.
Star also had three carriers in the top 10 – South African in second place, Austrian’s Tyrolean affiliate in third and SAS in fifth. SkyTeam had two members in the top 10 – KLM at sixth and Air Europa ninth.
