LONDRA - Un pacco sospetto e' stato trovato in uno dei bagni del City Airport di Londra, che - secondo quanto riferisce la Bbc - e' stato evacuato. Gli investigatori di Scotland Yard escludono legami con il terrorismo, ma le precauzioni sono scattate dopo che molti passeggeri hanno lamentato tosse ed irritazione alla gola, forse legate proprio al contenuto del pacco.

London's City Airport evacuated

City airport caters mainly to business travellers
London Fire Brigade is investigating a suspicious package that has forced the evacuation of London City Airport.
A spokeswoman for the airport said all flights had been suspended after a suspicious package was discovered in the ladies' toilet in the terminal.
Airport officials are awaiting further news from the Metropolitan Police and there are no details of which airports flights are being diverted to.
A Met police spokesperson said the incident was not terrorist-related.
Almost 3m passengers use city airport each year, primarily for business flights to the continent.
Police and fire were called after several passengers in the airport reported coughing and irritation that could be related to the suspicious substance.
Flights from City airport are usually diverted to either Stansted or Gatwick airports, an airport spokeswoman said.
