El Al Israel Airlines (LY, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) is reviewing options for its future long haul aircraft demands. El Al's widebody fleet includes six B747-400s, six B777-200(ER)s, and six B767-300(ER)s, the latter of which it is considering replacing with either A330s from Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) or B787s from Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) according to a report by Flightglobal.
El Al currently uses its fleet of B767-300(ER) aircraft on medium haul flights to Amsterdam, Barcelona El Prat, London Heathrow and Paris CDG as well as on long haul services to Beijing Capital, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo, Mumbai Int'l and Toronto Pearson.
