BEST AIRPORT WAITING LOUNGES
Changi Airport (SIN), which ranks second in the Overall ranking and third in Restaurants & Bars and Shopping, is once again protagonist in the Waiting Lounges category with the highest ranking score of 4.31. Travelers highlight the services available with comments like “I think it was definitely the best airport I’ve stepped foot in, phone chargers, drinking fountains, massage chairs...and all for free. The airport puts the passenger’s comfort first not money.” Another interesting quality is that Changi is one of the few airports in the world that allows access to its restaurants and shops to the outside public, and even offers them special deals.
Munich Airport (MUC), ranked fifth best in the world for their waiting lounges, offers Napcab sleeping cabins in its Terminal 2. The Napcabs are 4 square meter cubicles consisting of a bed, desk, A/C, internet access, TV, etc. and are especially useful for those with longer layovers between flights.
Zurich Airport (ZRH) appears yet another year in the Best Waiting Lounges category. In 2013, the airport was recognized by World Travel Awards as “Europe’s Leading Airport” for the 10th consecutive year.

THE 10 WORST AIRPORTS IN THE WORLD
Below are the 10 airports that received the lowest scores from eDreams customers during 2013. Dusseldorf’s Weeze Airport (NRN) was rated the worst airport with a score of 2.85. Traveler’s feedback indicated that obviously it is a former military airport transformed into a public airport”. Another traveler said that Weeze Airport should not be associated with the city of Dusseldorf because it takes at least 1.5 hours to reach the city.
Two Brazilian airports appear among the ten worst airports in the world. Rio de Janeiro International Airport (GIG) received the second lowest score of 2.92, while Sao Paolo International Airport (GRU) came in as the fifth lowest rated with a score of 3.43.
