Delta in attesa di annuciare nuove rotte per la summer 2027, ha apportato diverse modifiche alle rotte esistenti, per quanto riguarda l'Italia ci sono diversi aumenti di frequenze e un aumento del periodo di operativività:
Atlanta – Naples eff 27MAY27 Increase from initially filed 3 weekly to 4, A330-200
Boston – Milan Malpensa eff 06MAY27 Seasonal 1 daily A330-300 service, instead of 4 weekly from 07MAY27
New York JFK – Olbia eff 28MAY27 Seasonal service returns for second consecutive summer with 4 weekly 767-300ER instead of initially filed 3. Flight number change from DL216/217 to DL306/307
Seattle – Rome Fiumicino eff 12APR27 Seasonal 4 weekly A330-900neo operates from 12APR27 instead of 07MAY27. Flight number change from DL042/043 to DL324/325
L'aumento delle frequenze piu' significativo è la MXP-BOS che passa da 4x week a daily. Sulla stessa rotta c'è anche Jetblue daily. Quindi in totale avremo 2x daily la prossima summer.
Su Olbia nonostante l'apertura di United da EWR, aumentano la JFK da 3 a 4x week. In totale sulla Olbia-NYC avremo quindi 7x week
