Prague, Aug 2 (CTK) - Czech Airlines (CSA) management is reportedly preparing setup of its own low-cost airline, servers iDnes and Aktualne.cz. announced on Thursday.

The first flights could come with the winter flight schedule.

The company did not want to comment on the alleged launch of low-cost flights.

This is not the first time that CSA considers such move. It was the company's ex-president Jaroslav Tvrdik who last came with the plan. At that time, the supervisory board did not back his proposals.

Aktualne.cz notes that under Tvrdik, CSA registered the Ydea brand with the "Your discount european airline" motto.

The new brand could help attract new passengers and raise the use of its air fleet.

"I do not want and cannot comment on this at the moment," CSA president Radomir Lasak told Mf Dnes.

"If this happens, you will learn about it on time. The matter is not yet ready," he added.
