Conviasa has enlisted a B767-200(ER), N767DA (msn 23213) sourced from Dynamic Airways (D2, Greensboro), to operate its Caracas Simón Bolivar to Buenos Aires Ezeiza flights. The route, along with that to Madrid Barajas, was suspended late last month when Blue Panorama Airlines (BV, Rome Fiumicino) abruptly withdrew its B767-300(ER), EI-FCV (msn 26260), from service following non-payment of dues.
Sources in the Venezuelan capital inform ch-aviation that contrary to previous reports, the Italian carrier has not resumed its wet-lease operations for Conviasa but is only assisting in ferrying back to Caracas over 400 passengers left stranded at Madrid Barajas by the suspension of services.
With all affected passengers having now been safely repatriated, it is understood Conviasa has now moved to suspend its Madrid operations indefinitely.

Dopo aver preso in leasing un A310-300 da Hi Fly ed un 767-200ER da Dynamic Airways, ora hanno preso in leasing anche un A340-300 da AirAsia X per le tratte EZE e MAD da CCS.
