FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE --- August 31, 2008; 6:30 p.m. --- The Louis Armstrong
New Orleans International Airport has ceased commercial flight operations.
All non-essential personnel have departed the terminal building.
At this time there is no timetable for the resumption of air service at Armstrong
International. That information will be released to the media and posted on the airport’s
web site at www.flymsy.com when it comes available.

(ma possibile che non ci sia di mezzo una low cost, neppure mezza?...strano! secondo me non verrà pubblicata una cosa del genere..)
 
Pensavo l'avessero già chiuso da un pezzo!

BTW, mi raccontava recentemente un collega di Continental che fa base a Guam che un paio di volte l'anno capita anche a loro di dover mandare via tutti gli aerei in ferry in Giappone o sulla costa occidentale USA all'approssimarsi degli uragani sull'isola....
