Non esistono. I controlli della FAA sono sporadici e inefficienti, come dimostrano tutti i problemi emersi (molto in ritardo e a seguito di controlli comunque parziali) con la manutenzione di American Airlines, Southwest e United. In America tira una brutta aria, molti contractor esterni (sia nazionali che esteri) assunti in outsourcing sfuggono ai controlli in modo quasi sistematico.

Flight WE164 took off from Bogota (BOG), carrying a cargo of flowers to Miami (MIA) when the crew radioed that they had an engine fire. They attempted to return to the airport, but the plane crashed in a farm field, broke up and caught fire. A farm was demolished in the crash, killing two people inside.

certo che per avere una doppia engine failure (BOG) e un precedente come quello di BRU qualche dubbio sulla manutenzione dei motori fatta da Kalitta e' piu' che legittimo
Un altro incidente alla Kalitta... i suoi aerei rimangono pur sempre vecchi, anche se ci fai molta manutenzione, un serie -100 o -200 non è certo sicuro quanto i nuovi -400
