Air Koryo (JS, Pyongyang) has reportedly signed an order for 12 Airbus aircraft according to statements made to German travel publications fvw and BizTravel. According to Jo Song Gyu, CEO of North Korea’s International Travel Company, the order is for a mix of A319s, A320s and A330s although the breakdown was not given. The order is part of a move to open up North Korea to foreign tourism. The A330s will be used for possibly resurrecting flights to Berlin and adding London, Paris and Madrid Barajas, whilst the A319/320s will be used to open up new routes to South East Asia and China. So far Air Koyro only operates Soviet/Russian built aircraft with Beijing Capital, Shenyang and Vladivostok being its only three regularly served international destinations.

Re: Air Koryo ordina Airbus A32X e A330

La notizia sembra falsa.

We wish to address a new issue today, that is the online rumored order of some 12 "Airbus" frames by Air Koryo. The rumor has it that JS has ordered 12 mix of Airbus A319, A320 and A330 aircraft. Firstly we can acknowledge that these rumors are incomprehensible since Air Koryo can not acquire any western produced airliner nor would the fit into the Air Koryo fleet. Another factor is the over cost of a brand new Airbus order not to mention the fact Air Koryo has a key pact with UAC of Russia for additional and existing new frame orders.

Ahahahahahah mi pareva strano a me. Non ce lo vedevo proprio un 330 banco e rosso.
