Biman Bangladesh to lease 747-200

Biman Bangladesh Airlines (Sylhet) will be leasing a Boeing 747-200 from Nigerian based Kabo Air (Kano). The agreement will help Biman to minimize disruptions in flight schedules due to a lack of available aircraft. Biman currently owns three types of aircraft: four (4) McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30s, four (4) Fokker F28s, and three (3) Airbus A310-300s. Of these, only four or five can fly on any given day while the others are grounded for various mechanical issues. The aircraft will be wet leased from Kabo Air, who will provide crewmembers and staff to operate the aircraft. The 747 will serve Biman for at least six months and its lease could be extended after that.

Spero proprio di vedere il bellissimo 742 (eh si è il mio preferito) Kabo Air a FCO, prossimamente! Ecco una foto dell'aereo.
