Local news reports: Tuesday morning 15 June at approx 7:15 am a BA 777 on its way from SIN to LHR had to divert to AMS due to a lack of fuel. Landing was uneventful, but once on the ground engine damage was found. Not clear yet whether this damage was related to the low fuel level.
The Dutch Safety Board (Onderzoeksraad voor Veiligheid) will conduct research, pax were transferred onward.
