ELFAA pleased to welcome IAG airlines24 April 2015: The European Low Fares Airline Association (ELFAA) is delighted towelcome International Airlines Group (IAG) airlines British Airways, Iberia and IberiaExpress as members of ELFAA with immediate effect.John Hanlon, Secretary General of ELFAA said:“ELFAA is pleased and proud to welcome British Airways, Iberia and Iberia Express andlooks forward to representing such respected and successful airlines.”“This cements ELFAA’s position as the largest European airline group for passengers withinEurope. Our new members will further strengthen our credentials as the major stakeholdergroup on European legislative and regulatory matters. They will add more weight to our voiceon behalf of European consumers, who have benefited so greatly from the EU’s liberalisationof air transport.”Willie Walsh, CEO of IAG said:“We look forward to working with ELFAA and its member airlines on a full range of policy andregulatory issues including the pursuit of further aviation liberalisation”. IAG airline Vueling is already a member of ELFAA.
