Airstream International Group is pleased to confirm the placement of 4 ERJ-145s on lease to Athens Airways. The transaction was facilitated and completed in cooperation with ECC Leasing Company (Embraer's 100% pre-owned aircraft subsidiary based in Dublin Ireland).

The aircraft, which are currently operated by UK Airline Flybe, will be delivered to Athens from November of this year. The aircraft are being fully supported by a comprehensive support package delivered directly from Embraer and ECC.

"The placement of these aircraft with Europe's newest regional airline reaffirms our confidence in the fundamental benefits of the ERJ-145 as the benchmark in this market segment. Athens Airways is launching at a particularly opportune moment in the rapidly changing Greek market and we believe they have a very strong business plan." said Peter Crutchfield, Managing Director Airstream International Group.

"Athens Airways conducted a very thorough and detailed analysis of competing 50 seater jets and we are delighted that they have chosen the ERJ-145 platform as their preferred choice. The combination of working with our colleagues at Airstream has again proved the many advantages of the excellent relationship between our two companies. In this instance the aircraft are being sourced from them but all the support from Embraer, providing a clear winning formula for the customer." said Mark Dunnachie, Managing Director ECC Leasing Company Ltd.

Athens Airways is a start-up regional passenger Greek airline that will serve a number of destinations out of its planned Athens hub (Athens International Airport - AIA) in Greece. The main target of Athens Airways is to provide safe, reliable and on time performance, taking into advantage all of the private jet like characteristics of the EMBRAER ERJ-145 aircraft. Athens Airways will focus on providing consistent and secure services with superior quality. The flights are scheduled to commence in April 2009 and most of the basic regional Greek destinations will be served.

DHC-8-Q311 9H-AFD
NEW ERJ 145 EU G-EMBM Stored at Exeter (EXT)
ERJ 145 EU SX-CMA
ERJ 145 EU SX-CMB
ERJ 145 EU SX-CMC

Tiz

No, niente AZ
